It was a cool and foggy day on the eastern outskirts of London. I had cold pork soup for breakfast. It tasted of mold so I threw it out. I then ate a warm biscuit with some tea. After I walked down the street to go check if my daily bread was ready for pick up from the bakery J'on. The town was quite muddy from the last night's rain. It was about nine, almost time for brunch. Then I remembered I had a jousting match today. My opponent was a new competitor in the jousting league.
The time has elapsed and it is now midday, I am ready for my joust. I drank a couple gulps of water and I jumped on my horse. I mutter to myself "The government must hate this sport, taking people away from their jobs and making it easier to spread the plague." We take our sides we grab our poles and we start. I feel the tenseness in the crowd as they watch me gallop toward my opponent. Excruciating, a sharp wince of pain went up my shoulder where the adversary's pole had hit me. I then realized I must get to the other corner to get ready for another run at him. I get off to a late start but I place my pole in the right place but at the last moment it slipped and hit his head dead in the center of his face. I forfeited the match because I felt bad for this other lad he, looked like he was in really bad shape. Bedridden sick, guilt overwhelms me when I find out that he does have a coma. I find out also he is my long lost dad.
The next day I wake up and rush to the infirmary to check on my dad. He is in a deep coma and is estimated to be out of it in a 10 years. Every day for the next 10 years I visit the infirmary hand feeding my father every day. On the 11 year 285th day he wakes up. He asks who I am and I tell him your son. He asks what year is it and I say 1568. He had wondered where his second wife had gone after he had his coma. They had there nuptial 3 days before the joust. I did not know where his new wife was but I told him I would search for her. In the end my father died 13 years after he had woken from the coma. Forlornly, I am still searching for my stepmother.

"She had longed so eagerly to charm, to be desired, to be wildly attractive and sought after." In the short story, The Necklace by Guy De Maupassant, this quotation illustrates the main characters mind set of being the fairest in the land. Although her pressure is external it comes from society and trying to be rich and beautiful. The author of the story shows society' pressure, when the husband placed the wrap over her body but she rejects because its cheap and plain, she feels embarrassed because shes wearing a nice dress with a diamond necklace but a hideous wrap. It is better to be yourself than to try to be what society wants you to be.
In the Necklace the main character Mme. Loisel feels that she should have the finenesses of being rich and perfect as society wants. One instance, was when the main character in the beginning of the story admits she feels that she deserve is to be rich and beautiful. (pg. 235) Another example is Mme. Loisel was embarrassed to wear her everyday wrap in front of the other women after the elegant ball. She didn't want the other women to know how she really dressed, and she insisted on wearing jewels to impress those at the ball. This is what caused her all the problems in the end. These two examples show that Mme. Loisel was pressured by society, which would result in her trying to look better and richer than she was. If she wasn't so worried about what society thought of her, she wouldn't have experience the calamity of losing the jewels and living her life for the ten years in privation. The time it took to pay off the diamond necklace.
In my research I have found a person that is dictated by what she thinks society has put on her. Linsey Lohan is similar to Mme. Loisel because, Linsey Lohan is a actress who made a lot of money in her career. She has had problems in her life and is no longer making the money she used to make. She has been caught stealing items that she could not afford. Society's pressure of her feeling rich, deserving and beautiful have made her steal the things she thinks she's entitled to. Therefore people put upon themselves what they think society expects from them, making them unhappy and miserable.
In the world, there are a lot of different luck charms. A real common charm in this century is a lucky penny. The lucky penny is when you find a penny on the ground and if its head is facing up, then your in luck! if it's a tail you aren't. This has evolved to now it is lucky to find any type of coin, penny, nickel, dime, or quarter. In the end I feel that this is a good representation of a lucky charm.

In this assignment we were supposed to pick a object out of a box. The object I picked was a piece of bread. This represents me because bread is like a person it can have condiments applied to change it in different ways. This is like me because I get to try different things like how bread has different things spread on it etc... It also Is unlike me because it gets soggy when it's wet, when I'm wet I don't get soggy. It also is a important part of the human diet. For example, I had it for lunch today. In the end it is very important to me and a lot of other people.
